Sea Island Animal Hospital is very happy to introduce our newest Associate Veterinarian, Dr. Jennifer Fetterman! Dr. Fetterman is from Spartanburg, SC and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University in 1999. After graduation she moved to Richmond, Virginia and began practicing at a small animal hospital. Her areas of interest include internal medicine, dermatology, surgery and dentistry. When asked what she enjoys most about general practice, she says, "it is the combination of helping both pets and their owners that I love. The human-animal bond is truly magical and it is my honor to foster that bond every day." After visiting the Low Country regularly, she finally decided to make Beaufort, SC her permanent home and joined our practice on October 5th. Dr. Fetterman enjoys cooking, swimming, volunteering and walking her energetic Jack Russel, Ford.
