Dr. Meadows is from Ames, Iowa and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2015.  After graduation, she moved to Ohio and began practicing at a busy small animal/emergency hospital. During her years in Ohio, she grew knowledge and a passion for exotic animal medicine and surgery; while also becoming ceritified in small animal abdomnial ultrasound and echocardiology.  After visiting the lowcountry for years on vacation, she decided to make Beaufort her home with her now husband, Matt, in 2020.  Dr. Meadows interests include soft tissue surgery, abdominal ultrasound, internal medicine and exotic animal medicine.  In Dr. Meadows' free time she enjoys being on the water, running, attending country music concerts and traveling with her husband. They are proud parents of a Boston Terrier named Winston, a French Bulldog named Maple Bacon and two cats, Mac and Bella.
