Sea Island Animal Hospital is very excited to introduce our new Associate Veterinarian, Dr. Beth Bystrom! Dr. Bystrom is from Ames, Iowa and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University in 2015. After graduation she moved to Ohio and began practicing at a small animal/emergency hospital. During her years in Ohio she grew her knowledge and passion for exotic animal medicine and earned her certificate for small animal abdominal ultrasound and echocardiology. After visiting the Low Country, she decided to make Beaufort her home and will join our practice this September. Dr. Bystrom will bring years of veterinary medicine experience in surgery, internal medicine and ultrasound and a passion for exotic species such as reptiles, birds, rodents and rabbits.
